Up to 40,000 residents in of Igualada and the nearby town of Odena, two Northeastern towns in Spain, are being warned to stay indoors after a chemical explosion sent an orange toxic cloud spread throughout the entire area.
The chemicals cited were nitric acid and ferric chloride, according to firefighters. Reports indicate the explosion occurred "when products being delivered to a warehouse in the city of Igualada became mixed, exploded and set a truck on fire."
