With a beginning focused on closing our borders for National Security, removing illegal aliens (starting with those who perpetrate crime against US citizens), and working to reduce the cost of living, President Trump has worked tirelessly to enact rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to benefit the US and its citizens. Heended the first 100 days of his second term with two more proclamations and an executive order.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim April 29, 2025, as a day in celebration of the 418th anniversary of the First Landing and the Raising of the Cross at Cape Henry, Virginia, by the Jamestown settlers.
The Cape Henry Cross Memorial was erected by the Daughters of the American Colonists in 1935 to mark the first Landing in 1607 of three ships carrying settlers from England to Virginia.
Proclamation - Automobile & Auto Parts Imports Amendment
The United States has imposed tariffs under various statutory authorities and through a number of Executive Orders and proclamations to protect national security and address unusual and extraordinary threats to the national security, foreign policy, and economy of the United States. Although each of these actions, as listed in section 2 of this order, serves separate and distinct policy purposes, I have now determined that, to the extent these tariffs apply to the same article, these tariffs should not all have a cumulative effect (or stack on top of one another) because the rate of duty resulting from such stacking exceeds what is necessary to achieve the intended policy goals. To avoid the cumulative effect of overlapping tariffs on certain articles, this order sets out the procedure for determining which of multiple tariffs shall apply to an article when that article is subject to more than one of the actions listed in section 2 of this order.
Well, if the Democrats in Congress have their way, a lot of impeachment procedures (again). And it's already started with Michigan Democrat Congressman Shri Thanedar introducing SEVEN articles of impeachment! Thanedar is alleging a range of constitutional violations perpetrated by our Commander-in-Chief. The first seven are:
Obstruction of Justice and Abuse of Executive Power: Including denial of due process, unlawful deportations, defiance of court orders, and misuse of the Department of Justice.
Usurpation of Appropriations Power: For dismantling congressionally established agencies and impounding federal funds.
Abuse of Trade Powers and International Aggression: Including imposing economically damaging tariffs and threatening military invasion against sovereign nations.
Violation of First Amendment Rights: Through retaliatory actions against critics, media, and attorneys exercising constitutionally protected speech.
Creation of an Unlawful Office: By establishing the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and unlawfully empowering Elon Musk to unilaterally violate the Constitution.
Bribery and Corruption: Involving dismissing criminal cases, soliciting foreign emoluments, and extortionate settlements for personal and political gain.
Tyrannical Overreach: Seeking to consolidate unchecked power, erode civil liberties, and defy constitutional limits on presidential authority.
The fun part of this stunt is the fact that everyone knows these "charges" will go nowhere; but, it does show that should the midterm elections switch to a democrat Congress, we will be inundated with more spurious impeachment charges for the rest of President Trump's second term.
We can expect much more "bad press" than he's already gotten; although 92% negative coverage will be hard to beat, I am sure the MSM will give it their best shot!
Finally, I think we can expect the next 100 days to be focused on the economy, taxes, and tariffs as the Trump Administration continues negotiating with other countries on imports and exports, an end to the Ukraine war, Congress continues it's work on President Trump's "Big Wonderful Bill" that is anticipated to be full of tax cuts, and a lot more micromanagement via EOs & Memoranda to the Executive Branch because they are still dealing with the deep state operatives who are refusing to follow the orders of their Boss. Hopefully, we will continue to see a reduction in government overall - I would not mind if government shrunk to about 1/2 its current size.
Those are some of the exact words used by Googles censors, aka 'Orwelliancontent police,' in describing many of our controversial stories.Stories later proven to be truthful and light years ahead of the mainstream media. But because we reported those 'inconvenient truths' they're trying to bankrupt ANP.
