US Has Lower Goods Inflation Than Other Countries, US Is On A Winning Streak, More Nominations, President Of Poland Participates in Press Conference, Patriot John Morton, And More
On September 3, 2025, the White House published the article U.S. Goods Inflation Lower than Other Countries announcing that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) has increased at 1.9% between January and July. The price of good (excluding food and energy) has risen modestly that some have attributed to trade policy (tariffs). However, the White House says we must put this increase in an "international context" which would show that while goods have increase, they have not increased as much as other countries have experienced. They have produced a pdf U.S. Goods Inflation Lower Than Other Countries with a variety of graphs to back up their stance. I do note that this report excludes food and energy. However, food and energy are the primary concerns of most consumers. We continue to see higher prices at the grocery store. Although we are seeing lower prices at the gas pump, which is good.
Back on January 20, 2025 President Trump signed the Return to In-Person Work memorandum that created so much angst among the loony left? The Memorandum was very simple:
Heads of all departments and agencies in the executive branch of Government shall, as soon as practicable, take all necessary steps to terminate remote work arrangements and require employees to return to work in-person at their respective duty stations on a full-time basis, provided that the department and agency heads shall make exemptions they deem necessary.
Turns out the percentage of federal employees actually working from their physical offices has increased nearly 30% in the 2nd quarter. In practical terms, this means that more people were present at Federal offices in order to process US Citizen requests.
Then there's the "reverse flow" of "migration" that President Trump has effected. The droves of people that used to make the perilous journey from their 'home country' to the US border has decreased. The number of 'unaccompanied minors' has also decreased by 93%. "Migration" from Central American countries is down 97%.
Finally, DC Mayor Bowser has capitulated to the demands of President Trump to make DC safe again. I think she knows if she does not jump on the "make DC safe again" bandwagon, she will not be reelected. We shall see how committed she is to making DC safe again over the next few months. A lot of her policies need to change, dramatically, before the additional law enforcement & military personnel can be removed to other areas.

As I watch these bilateral meetings, I become even more annoyed with the propaganda media press who are present and clamoring to be recognized to ask a question. The majority of press questions are directed as US-based issues addressed to President Trump and the visiting dignitary is basically ignored.

And now you know that one voice, one vote, can turn the tide.
Today's Patriot is John Morton who was born in 1724 in Ridley, Chester (now Delaware) County, Pennsylvania, he was of Finnish/Swedish descent. His father died shortly before he was born. Family Search says he had 2 siblings; however, no birth dates are given, so we do not know if they are full or half siblings. All 3 children survived to adulthood. When he was about 7, his mother married John Sketchley, a farmer.
John married Ann Justis (1732-1800) in 1750 in Chester, Delaware, Pennsylvania. They had 9 children (3 boys and 6 girls), 6 of whom lived to adulthood.
In 1746, John was elected to the Pennsylvania Assembly. In 1766, John was appointed as Sheriff of Chester County for which he gave up is assembly seat. He was reelected as Sheriff in both 1767 and 1768. In 1769 he declined to run again for Sheriff choosing to run for the Pennsylvania Assembly again.
Between 1757 and 1774, John held the following positions: Justice of the Peace, High Sheriff of the County of Chester, presiding Judge of the Court of General Quarters Session, Common Pleas of the County of Chester, Associate Judge of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, and Justice of Orphan's Court. John brought a "common-sense" approach to legal matters and the populace appreciated it. In 1765, John was one of 3 delegates appointed to attend the Stamp Act Congress.
In 1775, he was elected to the Second Continental Congress. During this congress, John voted for independence, breaking the tie of the other Pennsylvania representatives. This vote was considered the "keystone" vote and that identification transferred to the entire state making Pennsylvania the "Keystone State."
John died from tuberculosis on April 1, 1777, the first signer of the Declaration of Independence to die. He was interred at St. Paul's Church Burial Ground, Chester, Pennsylvania. His grave was unmarked until October 1845 when his descendants installed an 11-foot marble obelisk at it.
Those are some of the exact words used by Google’s censors, aka 'Orwellian content police,' in describing many of our controversial stories. Stories later proven to be truthful and light years ahead of the mainstream media. But because we reported those 'inconvenient truths' they're trying to bankrupt ANP.
